The painting represents a white guitare depicted in a cubic manner over many juxtaposed grids executed with various colors, red, yellow, blue, black. The overlapping grids create a vibrant composition.

This image features three paintings on a white wall, from, left to right, Pablo Picasso, Partition, Bouteille de Porto, Guitare, Cartes à Jouer (Music Partition, Bottle of Port, Guitar, Playing Cards) made in 1917 representing a still life composed of a guitar and a bottle of porto a news paper on a blue background. All these elements are represented in a cubist manner. The next painting is by fernand Leger and is called, Les Cylindres Colorés (The Colored Cylinders) it's a colorful and abstract composition representing a group of cylinders painted in purple, pink, yellow, white palette delineated with black lines. The last painting on the right is by Georges Braque, it is called, Guitare et Journal: STAL (recto); Femme à la Mandoline (verso) (Guitare and Journal), it is a black and white gouache, the shape of the painting is oval but it is framed in a rectangular frame. The composition is quite abstract and cubist, black lines intersect with curvy lines, we can see a piece of newspapers which letters read STAL and the word telephone.

Juan Gris, Bock de Bière, 1911 Charcoal on paper 47.8 x 31.5 cm. (18 7/8 x 12 3/8 in.) This drawing made with charcoal on paper represents a pint of beer, the shape of it looks prismatic.
